Owl Canyon
Owl Canyon
Owl Canyon is not the typical "slot" canyon but more a narrow arroyo cut through the sandstone. Why is it named "Owl Canyon"? Because several pair of mating "Great Northern Owls" migrate to this canyon to nest and bring the next generation. And, we did see one of the owls as we worked our way through the canyon.
