Sievers Mountain and Lenticular Clouds++
Sievers Mountain and Lenticular Clouds++
This is a panoramic image of Sievers Mountain - a mountain that suffers from being overlooked because almost all the photographers come to this location to photograph the famous Maroon Bells which is just over my left shoulder.

After competing with hundreds of my closest photography friends for a sunrise image of Maroon Bells (didn't happen), I turned around and saw the sun kissing the tips of Sievers but, in my haste to catch that light, I didn't notice the three lenticular clouds forming over the area. Only when viewing this image on my computer screen did I see the clouds. Sometimes better lucky than good pops into my mind.
