This is probably one of the best photos I've taken - because of the image itself and the circumstances of the shot. The shot was taken during a fall trip to Great Smoky Mountains National Park immediately after an unexpected snow and ice storm. I had started my chemo treatments only a few weeks prior and was extremely sensitive to cold. Naturally, I left my gloves in the car and after only a few minutes at the top of the Dome, I was unable to even touch my camera because of extreme sensitivity to cold. And, I do mean "extreme. I composed the shot, set the exposure and focused the lens but I could not touch the shutter release button so a friend did it for me - a joint effort. Of course, both of us claim credit. Thanks, Jeff.
