This scene is commonly (and mistakenly) titled as photographing Dallas Divide. Actually, it is the Sneffels Range photographed from Dallas Divide. A "divide" is the same as a "pass" and Dallas Divide is actually the high spot on the road directly behind where this was photographed. It's a white stripe on the highway.
