Capitol Creek Valley & Capitol Peak
Capitol Peak is one of Colorado's "14'ers" at an elevation of 14,130'. While not the tallest of Colorado's peaks, it is one of the more dangerous to climb with an ascent to the summit requiring a traverse over the "Knife's Edge". Go to YouTube and search "Knife's Edge Colorado" and watch one of many videos. The vertical drop off on one side is over 1,000 feet and over 1,500 feet on the other side.
