Combat Photography
Earlier, I mentioned that photographers from all over the world come to Maroon Bells in the fall looking for their perfect interpretation of one of the iconic locations in the photo world.
Did I mention hundreds showed up this morning? Here's Don Plocher (TheWeasel) and Paul Rewerts with the multitudes. Click on this photo to enlarge it and you can see the brigade of photographers present. A ranger told a friend that a one day record for photographers was set the previous morning with nearly 450 lining the shores of Maroon Lake. There were easily 350 on this morning. Not exactly a wilderness experience!
