Mt Daly and Capitol Peak +
Mt Daly and Capitol Peak +
That's Mt Daly on the left with Capitol Peak occupying center stage. Capitol Peak is a "fourteener" at 14,130 feet. If you enlarge this image you'll easily be able to see the curtains of rain falling on the other side of Capitol Peak. The ridgeline from midpoint to the summit of Capitol Peak is names "the Knife's Edge". Go to YouTube and search "Knife's Edge, Colorado" and you find out how it got its name. Scarey!!! The "other side" is where Aspen, Colorado is located and we drove through pounding rain on our way to this location fearing we would be rained out. We weren't.

Next stop - "Maroon Bells" and "combat photography".
